Puan Hazami started the workshop with her talk entitled “Charting the future for Malaysia through Science Policy: What makes an impactful policy paper”. Puan Nitia session followed with a focus on the hands-on/ practical session on an ASM’s Special Interest Group (SIG): “Developing industry ready talent for STI-based enterprise post COVID-19".

The invited speaker for this programme was Academician Emeritus Professor Tan Sri Datuk Dr Omar Abdul Rahman, who shared about "STI for Socio-Economic Transformation: Policy & Governance Considerations."

This programme is the first in a two-part series involving two speakers; Ms. Zaharah Binti Mohd Abd Kader, The Deputy Head of Cluster (Public Policy), The National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN) and Ms. Nitia Samuel, Principal Analyst, Head of Science, Technology, and Innovation, Strategic Studies Division, Academy of Sciences Malaysia.
